Position Title: Production Supervisor
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Manager or Plant Head

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in line with the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system. This role ensures that manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, meet quality standards, and adhere to customer-specific requirements. The supervisor will monitor and guide the production team, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Production Supervisor not only manages day-to-day operations but also plays a key role in maintaining quality, driving continuous improvement, ensuring safety, and meeting customer-specific requirements. Success in this role will directly contribute to the company’s ability to meet customer demands, maintain high-quality standards, and improve production efficiency

Job Category: 2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) • Production Planning & Control: Ensure production schedules are met as per customer demands and conduct inspections at operator level. • Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement practices and corrective actions). • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety standards and documentation as per IATF 16949:2016 requirements (e.g. and motivate the production team and optimization of production lines. • Employee Supervision: Lead conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. • Customer & Audit Readiness: Prepare and ensure the department is ready for customer audits and internal audits customer specifications) defect elimination ensuring that all operators team members follow the safety protocols and work instructions. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records including waste reduction minimizing downtime and delays. • Quality Compliance during Production: Enforce adherence to quality standards (IATF 16949:2016 monitor product quality non-conformance reports reports train work instructions
